If you want parity you could also use something like flexraid and or snapraid along with it, etc. With the cloud option you can even put your cloud storage into the pool, etc. Tied with their scanner - it can even auto evacuate files off a drive in the pool that is showing problems. If you want just let it store all your files on multiple disks in your pool if you want that "raid" warm feeling for your data. It really is very robust software that will let you do lots stuff.
